Who We Are
Marrakech Desert Trips is a brand of Extra Mile Travel, a licensed and registered Moroccan travel company (License N° 16D/19) based in Marrakech. Founded in 2004, we have over 20 years of experience organising Sahara desert tours, Marrakech day trips, and Atlas Mountains trekking for travellers from around the world.
We are not a reseller or booking agent. We design, operate, and run every tour directly — selecting our own drivers, guides, guesthouses, and desert camps. This means better quality control, fairer prices, and genuine local expertise on every trip.
Our team of drivers, guides, and operations staff are all Moroccan, based in and around Marrakech. Many have worked the Marrakech–Merzouga desert route for over a decade. We speak English, French, Arabic, and Tamazight (Berber).
